WE MUST ACT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

LET US THINK AND ACT FAST!

Now we need to move and move fast, even at the risk of stumbling once or twice. Anything is better than standing still and letting the storm engulf us.

Daech in Syria, Iraq, and Libya, and the latest front opened in Yemen should not distract our attention from our own race toward the abyss. We cannot afford to be engulfed into an economic and social stagnation that can deal a final blow to our very existence as a Nation.

We must act, and act soon. I repeat my urgent call to convene the best minds in this country to an open conference to discuss all the aspects of our current inertia and seek some worthwhile solutions.

The clock is implacably ticking away. We cannot afford to waste one minute.
